I watched a war movie. It's a story about China on its long long ago state, when they had war among themselves for supremacy. Well, it is history now.
But I realized that
"Every General has suffered lost at least once (which is recorded in history) or even more". It is not what about losing, I want to talk about.
On war, sometimes a General placed on advantageous condition and had on bad condition on other time. A wise General would choose to retreat / "give up" when they are on disadvantage situation. That's the big idea.
Let's say General A had 1000 soldiers are attacked by 10.000 strong army. If you become General A what will you do? If you "give up" on this battlefield, you will be alive and maybe get a good opportunity on future to beat that army. Otherwise, there's nothing if you're dying on that battlefield. Catch what I mean?
I call it "Strategic Retreat". Yes, I know we are hardwired to "Not Give Up" no matter what adversities we face by our society (parents, friends, anyone surround us). We will feel like a failure or loser if we runaway from hardships. Even our pride will not allow it.
The truth is, those are not true. "When one door closed, other doors will be opened up if you stop looking on that closed door".
"Give Up" can get you new opportunity to do something different what you do right now.
"Give Up" can get you new opportunity to do something different what you do right now.
Before you "Give Up", there are things on my opinion should be done :
1. Ask your inner self. Are you satisfied with current condition? If no, what you can do to make it better. If you quit what you do now, will you regret it on future?

2. Ask your closest people around you. Friends. Parents. Hear their opinions, but decisions is yours. Their opinions is just, err opinion. You yourself who live your life, not your father nor friends nor grandfather nor.... I don't need to write them all here.
3. Research and research. What problems you face right now and how to overcome it. Remember that you are not alone. Your problems others have faced it before you.
I hope this post useful.
